[ It takes a few more of those perfectly angled thrusts before she finally climaxes, her tail slapping hard against the water and sand as it arches to meet him, her whole body shuddering as she muffles a cry against him, filling her senses with his touch, his scent, his taste.
Her walls convulse around him, squeezing tight and milking him for everything he had to offer. Pleasure washes over her like a wave, keeping her under as she trembles beneath.

Did you think she wouldn't tell me or did you do it out of spite?
I've tried to forgive you for our past.
Now you do this. You know we're bonded. How would you feel if I bent Kira over?

[L always was a cold thing, wasn't he?]
Have you seen her since?
[Maybe he's jealous; maybe he's not. The fact that he's contacted L at all should give the answer in spades.]

[Everything is because of you.]
If you want her, you can have her.
[Lying thing that Mello is.]
She's just a girl.

[ His breath tickles her neck, her scales sensitive to his heat. It was almost fascinating, having been used to seeing Linden be so calm and collected, now disheveled, panting, gripping her tight as he empties himself into her. It’s a pity, that he won’t let her see his face, the kind if expression he was making in the throes of pleasure.
The merrow turns enough to nuzzle against the side of his head, pressing soft, lazy kisses to his temple, trying to let him know she was pleased. Her monstrous side could certainly keep going, but she was sated enough to not want to push him like that. ]
Are you alright, Linden…?

[ The show of gratitude was oddly…flattering? She can’t help but chuckle fondly as she keeps him close with a hug, rolling them over so she could get a proper look at his face, her hair falling around them as she looks down at him warmly. Reaching up, she brushes stray locks away from his face, gently caressing his cheek.
Their new position also keeps him snug inside of her, some of his seed dripping down around the base where they connected. ]
I thought so too. That you were really good.
[ Considering it was his first time, and with a merrow on the shore at that. What could he do in more favorable conditions, she wondered. ]

[ Now? She thinks, the merrow in her quite pleased with the thought, her ears perking and her eyes twinkling with excitement, the soft muscles of her tail squeezing around him. But…it dawns on her that he might another time, elsewhere, outside of this cave.
No longer away from the subject neither of them have brought up, choosing to drown themselves in seemingly innocent passion. But someone was affected by all this, someone that Alex particularly cared for.
How selfish was it of her, to crave for both of them. ]
Can we?
[ once they leave this place? Again the debate of what was harmless and what wasn’t starts to creep into her mind. ]

You know we're bonded.
I won't go any further than that except to assume that you're still out to fuck with me.
I admired you, once. Now I know you're just an asshole, yea. She can do what she wants. I don't own anyone, either.

[Maiuril had been an eventful month, to say the least--for Aefenglom and the Mirrorbound generally, and for Myr in particular. With Everett and Vandelin both among the influx of unbound visitors, the Faun had found his days (and nights) full and passing all-too-quickly for the beloved company. To say nothing of all that had come of the Diasteran contingent that had descended upon the city, with their tales of far-off lands, strange Monsters and stranger magic, and all that those things betokened. Combined, they'd been reason enough for Myr to set aside many of the cares that chased him in Aefenglom and give in to the lighter side of a Faun's nature (ignoring the heavier things remaining between him and his cousin) to frankly sinful excess.
He hadn't quite neglected L in all of that--had, in fact, invited his Witch along as often as not to whatever new thing had caught his attention--but he also hadn't been by his Bonded's side as often as was his wont. It's because of that there was an air of exhausted guilt about him as he crept home on the night crux between Maiuril and Iuneril, heavy with farewells said (Everett, Vandelin) and missed (Viren), and crept into the bed he shared with L to seek a potion-drugged sleep.
It should have been undisturbed, heavy, dreamless; he should have lain like the dead until well after dawn, when the prospect of wakefulness and every duty he had to resume on the other side of it wouldn't be quite so horrible.
But as has ever been the world's way with Myr, the palliative he's seeking isn't the one he gets.
Sometime around the third hour of morning he slips out of bed without waking up and heads for the door of the cottage. He doesn't take his staff; he doesn't call Crookytail to him, though she follows of her own accord when the click of hooves on the wooden floor wakes her. His pace is unhurried and unerring as he heads for the Coven, as he's done so many days throughout his life in Aefenglom, on some piece of business or another.
Though there's really only one reason Mirrorbound sleepwalk to the Coven--or a certain enchanted structure on its grounds.]

Neither am I.
[ Which was true, really. But…it’s more of who Linden was that made it complicated. Because of the nature of their relationship, Alex was certain he wouldn’t ‘not’ care about this.
Her gaze lowers a moment, crossing her hands over his chest to lean down, her mind wandering to how to approach her Bonded about this. ]
M said it didn’t matter to him who I’m with, but…
[ Meeting his eyes again, she knows Linden is smart enough to know why she’s concerned. ]
You’re different.
[ No one could shake M like Linden could. ]
