While the bond can mostly be a blessing, all swords between them will normally be double-edged. L spins his words hoping to paint a certain picture, but Light can see through the pattern and find the real image: even for L, there is a 1%. More than anything else L reveals in his explanation, that's the most shocking. It's also not an assumption. There has been a point in his life where he's lusted after someone else. Maybe it's new to this world, maybe it's not; either way, it's continued here.

Who? What would be his type? While it would be easy to say he's someone like Light who values intelligence, lust isn't love and isn't always logical. Myr? They share a room. Do they have an intimate relationship? It isn't a question he'd considered before, but now it's a possibility.
